REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

             17th Monday to 21st Friday
                    {December 2018}

                                  This was the 8th week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal. It was the last week at school before 'X' mas vacation.   Exams are continnued in this week. Our school was a centre of different type of training programmes. In this week there was an IT training programme in the school. Our new principal decided to conduct a christmas celebration on the last day of this week. She gave instructions to the teacher trainees including me to decide different types of  programme for the celebration.

'X Mas Celebration

            Christmas celebration on 21st friday is an unforgettable moment in the school. On that day Baiju sir decided to provide noon food to the children. So we also decided to take part in this.As a part of this participation we decided to include Ice Creem in the meal. After the food there are different types of programmes of students from different classes.

       

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

     10th Monday to 13th Thursday
            {December 2018}

                       This was the seventh week of teaching practice at JHS Edamuackal.Christmas exams started on this week. We got only monday in this week to taught the students before the exams. I completed the exam portions on previous week. There where exams in for noon  and afternoon.Our Principal from sabarigiri B.ed college visited the school in this week.He gave differerent type of instructions to as.He gave the permission letter related to the conduction of Conscitization programme.

            I taught only one topic in this week.I taught the topic Mixed Economy.It is the combination of positive aspects of both
Capitalism and socialism

            3rd Monday to 7th Friday

                   {December 2018}

                        This was the sixth week of teaching practice at JHS Edamuackal. In this week our juniors came to the school for their school induction programme. For their induction programme 11 teacher trainees choosed our school. The most important incident in this week is nothing but the DEO visited the school on Tuesday. She visited all the classes and gave suggestions and recommendations to both teachers and students. DEO checked our lesson plans and teaching aids. It was a great experience for us as teacher trainees.

               In this week the school authorities conducted a tour programme for all students especially for 10th students to Eranakulam.

                               This was the fifth week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal. Day by day the school providing different type of experience to us as teacher trainees. Our new HM took the charge in this week. As our new head the HM provided different type of experience to us. There are also different type of co curricular activities in the school. We the ten teacher trainees actively participated in conducting  all these programmes. In this week our teacher visited the school for observation.

  Class Reflection

            In this week I taught several topics from the chapter For a Bright Future. It was a chapter containing several social issues.I completed peer evaluation in this month.

Co-curricular Activities

             In this week there was a drawing competition in the school related to the topic of the inclusion of physicaly disabled persons in the normal classroom. Students from different classess actively participated in the competition.

       19th Monday to 24th Saturday

                        This was the fourth week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal.In this week I engaged in different  type of activities in the school. SRADHA was the most important programme amoung them. It was a programme of education department for the backward students of 8th,9th and 10th class. Our social science teacher provided a question pool to me to train the students. It was a great experience for me. I taught several topics to the students.

                 In this week I taught several topics from two chapters. Students in the 9th class are actively participated in the classroom section .I conducted a Diagnostic  test in this week on 22nd Thursday.

                  12th Monday to 16th Friday

                         November 2018

               This was the third week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal. This teaching practice is a wonderful experience for all of us. Each day is more and more effective and interesting. There are very limited students in the school.But the students in the school are actively participating in all the extra curricular activities. Yoga training is another important achievement of this school.

     Inauguration Of School Building
 

                   On 12th Monday there was an inauguration in our school. Our new school building provided  by Rajya sabha MP A.K .Antony, was inaugurated by kollam   MP N.KPremachandran.It was a grand function.    Lot of   eminent  personalities  from social ,political,and cultural field participated in the function.It was an one day programme. School welfare committe and PTA committe actively participated in the co-ordination of the programme

5th Monday to 9th Friday{November 2018}

                    This was the second week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal. I covered four lessons in this week. The second week is more important than the first week. We the ten teacher trainees become more closer to the students and school atmosphere. Every we actively participated in distributing the mid day meal to the students.  On Thursday there was a special assembly in the school to give instructions to the students regarding the inaguration of new building on 12/11/2018.

                      In this week I completed several topics in civics. Students in the 9th class actively  participated in the teaching learning process.The important topics i taught in this week are,

2 Friday & 3rd Saturday {November 2018}

                  
               This was the first week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal.On the first day the senior teacher provided proper instructions and facilities to us. We got a hearty and warm welcome from all the school authorities and students.

Classroom Experience

                   In this week saturday was working day.I started my lessons on Saturday on 9th class. The number of students are very low in the class. I selected the chapter Election and Democracy to begin my practice of teaching.

SECOND PHASE OF TEACHING PRACTICE

     Our second phase of teaching practice begin on 2 November 2018. We are the ten teacher trainees of sabarigiri b.ed college opted JHS Edamulackal  for improving our teaching skills.It is a good opportunity for us to  improve our abilities through training under the direct supervision of  expert teachers.

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

29th & 30th August 2018

                The school re opened on 29th Wednesday after Onam vacation. Only two days are remained in our teaching experience after Onam vacation. We completed most of our works in the first phase of teaching practice.
The days we worked in JHS was a great experience for all of us.Before leaving the school  we met all teachers and the principal who extended their full support to us.

               This was the 8th week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal.Only three days are working days in this week because of heavy rain.    On 15 Wednesday we grandly conducted INDEPENDENCE DAY in our school. It was a great programme ever conducted in this school. Studentd of different classes actively participated in this programme.It was a great experience for us.

                 I completed most of the topics in this week. As a part of evaluation i conducted an Achievement test on 13th monday. Most of the pupils scored the highest marks.

                    This was the seventh week of teaching experience at JHS Edamulackal. Only three days are working days in this week. I taught several topics in this week. Fundamental Rights are the main topics.The teachers tolled us to complete the topics as soon as earlier. Because the government declared the examinations after Onam vacation.

                         This was the sixth week of teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal. In this week our Principal visited the school for observation. He discussed about different type of matters to us. In this week we collected food grains and other materials for the people in kuttanadu who were negatively affected by flood.  We also started the practices of different type of programs to be conduct on the Independence day.

                        This was the fifth week of  teaching practice at JHS Edamulackal.Day by the school providing different type of experience to us as teacher traine's.In this week we conducted our Field Study.The principal and school authorities extended their full support for conducting our Field Study

                We conducted our Field Study at JHS on 26th .Principal give permission to us to conduct the programme in 3rd and 4th period.As a part of our Field Study we conducted a poster presentation for the high school students.Our programme was tittiled ' JALANIDHI'.Because we choosed water polution as our topic for field study.

17th Tuesday to 21st Saturday{July 2018}

                            

                        This was the fourth week of teaching practice. In this week Monday was declared as holiday by the district collector because of huge rain. In this week our teacher visited the school for observation.Day by day the teaching experience became a wonderful experience for all of us. The teacher's and students are actively participating different type of curricular and co- curriculular activities inside and outside the school.

Classroom Experience

                   In this week I taught several topics from the first chapter of Geography - 'Sun The Ultimate Source'. The students of 9th standard are actively participated in the teaching learning process. The topics are,

School Based Activity

                   As part of our B.Ed curriculum we are required to conduct a school based activity related to EDU-12 ,Learner in the Educational Perspectives. For this we conducted a Debate Competition and we selected the topic 'Gender Bias'. We conducted the programme on 19/08/18. The students from eighth standard were selected to participate in the programme.

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

9th Monday to 13th Friday{July 2018}

                       

                              This was the third week of teaching practice. It is a fact that the teaching practice is a wonderful experience for all of us. Each and every day is more and more interesting. The number of students is very low in this school when we compared with the near by schools. But the students in this school actively participating in all the programs in this school. Especially their assembly programms are appreciable.Yoga training is another important achievement of this school. The school authorities providing equal importance to the physical, mental and educational developments of the children. Local support is one of the most important factor for the development of any institution. Our school is gifted with such a support.There was a function in the school in this week. On this function a local group of a national level party decided to sponsor 4 poor students in this school.

            Most of the students in the 9th class are much brilliant. They actively participated in the teaching learning process.
                        

Reflection On School Experience

2nd monday to 6th friday {July 2018}

                   The second week of teaching practice started from 2nd july 2018. The second week started with a strike. Two days are strike in this week. I covered three lesson plans in this week. The second week is more wonderful when compared with the first week. We the ten teacher trainees are more close to the students and school atmosphere. Every day we actively participated in distributing the midday meal to each and every child.

Special Assembly

                      On Friday there was a special assembly in the school. It is a fact that there are many poor students in our school.They are suffering from different type of financial problems. So it is highly necessary to help them to continue their studies. Such an initiative was taken by DYFI. They under the auspicious of school authorities conducted a special assembly on Friday. And they handed over  money to the senior teacher for the further studies of four poor students in the school.

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

      25th Monday to 29th Friday {june 2018}

                              The first week of teaching practice  was a wonderful experience for us. According to the time table l had classes in every day except Thursday. As per the lesson plan i decided to teach in the 9th standard. Friday I had two periods. I completed five lesson plans in this week. I covered half  portion of first chapter in history ie,MEDIEVAL WORLD CENTRES OF POWER. The school assembly was a wonderful experience to us. It included different features like prayer,pledge,holy book,thought,
book review, poster presentation etc.

CO- CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

                     In this week we the ten teacher trainees participated in different  co- curricular activities. Amoung them a paper craft class and drawing competition condected by Exice Dept. are very important . All the students  actively participated in the co - curricular activities.

CLASSROOM  EXPERIENCE

                       In the first week I taught five important topics from History. The topics are Eastern Roman Empire, Western Roman Empire,Arabian Empire,Ottoman Empire,Mongolian Empire,. The pupils in the class actively participated in the teaching sessions.

Our first day of teaching practice begin on 22nd June 2018. We are the  10 teacher trainees of sabarigiri B.ed college opted J.H.S Edamulackal  for improving our teaching abilities through  training under the  supervision and guidance of expert teachers.

                        Today our principal provided proper instructions and facilities  for us. We got a heartly and warm welcome from the school authorities.
